伯尼山德士（英文：Bernie Sanders，傳媒多數譯桑德斯，1941年9月8號—）係美國佛蒙特州嘅獨立參議員。佢曾經角逐美國民主黨就2016年美國總統選舉嘅初選，外界睇佢係希拉里之後嘅第二熱門人選，不過最後都輸咗畀希拉里。四年後佢再接再勵角逐美國民主黨就2020年美國總統選舉嘅初選，外界睇佢係拜登之後嘅第二熱門人選，不過最後一樣都係輸咗畀拜登。

山德士1941年9月8號喺紐約市布碌侖出世。[1][2][3][4]佢爸爸埃利亞斯•山德士[5]1904年9月14日喺波蘭（嗰時係奧匈帝國嘅領域）出世，係一個猶太人[6][7]。1921年17歲嘅埃利亞斯移民去美國，賣顏料維生[6][8][9]。佢媽咪多蘿西•山德士1912年10月2號喺紐約市出世，[10][11]係嚟自俄羅斯嘅猶太人[12][13]。

山德士自細已經對政治產生興趣。佢記得喺1932年希特拉贏咗選舉，呢次選舉令到五千萬人，包括六百萬猶太人，因爲希特拉嘅決策而死。所從少佢就知道政治其實對人係非常重要[14][15][16]。1940年，山德士大部分親戚，包括佢叔叔，喺被德國佔領嘅波蘭被殺[5][11][17][18][19]。

山德士住過喺布碌侖[1]。小學嗰時係藍球賽攞過冠軍[20][21]。佢以前下晝會返猶太學校上堂[18]。佢哥哥拉里話佢哋以前細個雖然夠錢買衫同糧食，但係負擔唔起較貴嘅產品，例如窗簾同地毯[22]。

山德士中學嗰時係田徑隊隊長，曾經喺紐約市一英里田徑賽得到季軍[20]。喺中學佢經歷第一次選舉嘅落敗，喺學生會會長選舉三個候選人當中，佢得票最低。佢中學畢業冇幾耐，46歲嘅媽媽就過咗身[11][18]。1962年8月4號，佢57歲嘅爸爸都走埋。[23]。

1959-60年期間，山德士喺布鲁克林學院讀過一年[24]。跟住去咗芝加哥大學就讀，1964年政治學學士學位畢業[24]。佢話自己大學讀書麻麻地，因為上堂好悶而且學嘅嘢同現實世界無乜關連，佢覺得服務社群學到更加多[25]。
