Q: The annual Apple sale has started. I want to take this opportunity to buy more iOS devices, but I can't. Because the more iOS devices I have, the more my iCloud storage is squeezed, making it harder to use all my iOS devices. Since 2011, Apple has only given us 5 GB of iCloud storage for free. Isn't it fatal not to change it for 9 years? 听起来自然吗?
A: The annual Apple sale has started. I want to take this opportunity to buy more iOS devices, but I can't because [1] the more iOS devices I have, the more my iCloud storage is squeezed, making all my iOS devices harder to use [2]. Since 2011, Apple has only been giving us [3] 5 GB of iCloud storage for free. Are they trying to kill us, not changing it for 9 years? [4]

[1] The original is grammatically fine, but it's sometimes advised against to start a sentence with "because." I personally never liked that advice, but I admit that when you have a short sentence, it seems unjustified to start the next sentence with "because" when you could just, you know, join the two into one sentence.

[2] The original is perfectly natural, but I feel that it could be interpreted in two ways: "making all of my iOS devices harder to use" and "making it harder to use all my iOS devices at the same time" (which was how I interpreted it before I read the Japanese translation).

[3] Not a big problem, but I feel that "has only been giving us" is a bit more natural than "has only given us". Every year Apple has the chance to change the capacity, but by not doing so it's in effect giving you the same conditions every year, and in this sense the action is habitual, making the continuous aspect appropriate, I think.

[4] I don't think we use the word "fatal" like that. You can say "the disease is fatal" or "the wound is fatal" or the "attack is fatal," but... I don't know, it doesn't sound natural here.
