Der zweite Satz ist leider nicht korrekt und macht keinen Sinn auf Englisch. Das Problem ist, „either“ wirkt auf das Wort ein, das direkt danach kommt. Das heißt, das Wort direkt nach „either“ muss eine der Optionen sein und bestimmt was für Optionen es gibt. Wenn man „either“ vor „the guitar“ stellt statt „play“, sind die möglichen Optionen nur Dinge, die gespielt werden dürfen. Also ein richtiger Satz könnte so aussehen: „I play either the guitar or the violin“. Wenn man „either“ vor „play“ stellt, sind die Optionen alle Verben. zB I either play guitar or sit on my bed.

Wortstellung von „finally“:

Es gibt keinen großen Unterschied zwischen die Stellungen. Mit solchen Sätzen ist die mündliche Betonung mehr wichtig als die Stellung. Beides bedeutet, dass man etwas endlich versteht und man kann beides in denselben Fällen benutzen.

5. I am in the building (O = you're INSIDE the building), I am on the building (O = you're ON TOP of the building)

Basically, the pattern is this:

If ______ had ______, then ______ wouldn't have ______.
If ______ had ______, then ______ would have ______.
If ______ hadn't ______, then ______ wouldn't have ______.
If ______ hadn't ______, then ______ would have ______.

You choose which one to use depending on your situation.
