关于Mirror的意思和用法的提问

A: As is being used to connect how things are seen: as a mirror from one side, and as a window on the other.

I am not sure how else to answer that other than the answers I gave. 🙂

An evil witch asks her magic mirror every day whether or not she is the most beautiful woman in the kingdom. One day, the mirror replies, Snow White - a poor peasant girl - is more beautiful than you.

Obviously, the witch is not happy about this...

A: i think it’s supposed to be taken literally,
as in they literally have an “old saying” cut out and glued on their mirror
they have a quote glued on their mirror, like a note, therefore they see it everyday they look at the mirror.

"She looked at herself in the mirror" sounds more natural and is more common.

This sounds unnatural. Here’s how I would write it. “I practice dancing while looking at myself in the mirror”

A: It's unnatural to say "in the mirror in the evening" so your sentence would be more natural if you say "When I look at myself in the mirror during evenings, I often look awful from fatigue."

A: it makes sense and people might say that if they are trying to be very formal, but it would be more natural to say "the mirror reflects me." also, adding "in it" make it more unnatural because it isn't needed to understand what you are saying.
