Pinot and his latest tricks...

Pinot digs a good zip line ride...
..
.

...Or maybe a ride on a racoon chasing a candy corn?
...
..
.

Either way, this elf is hip ;)
...
Santa sent some candy with a little note telling the kids to be good...yes they ate it for breakfast :)
...
We've been crazy busy getting ready for Christmas this last week! I'm so excited to give gifts this year!
...a couple in particular really have me not being able to wait for Christmas to just GET HERE!

Elf Wars...

Pinot.
.
.
Just a friendly little marshmallow war ;)
.

The kids haven't awaken yet this morning...
..
.
I'm up early, still wrapping my head around the fact
that a crazy person killed 28 people yesterday - 20 of them being kindergarteners...
.

Averys age.
I have been crying off and on since last night.
There really are no words to describe the horror with a tragedy such as this.
I pray for all the families.
I pray for my friends that have been severely affected by this.
The nation as a whole is mourning and will be for quite some time...

OCD & Cars...

It's a joke at our house that Cash is a tad OCD...
.
.
.
Pinot has learned a few behaviors while visiting the Meyer residents...
.

Cash appreciated this move.
He lines his cars up-as well as a few others things-and was impressed with Pinots mad lining skills ;)
GO PINOT!

Snow Angels

Pinot's a funny elf :)
He got into the flour sometime this early morning
and made a snow angel.
.
.

He sure has been a delight!
This is a pretty fun tradition.
It sure gets the kids out of bed quicker in the morning--
-wait...is that such a good thing??

When the kids woke up this morning it was a mad dash to find, Pinot!----
--
-
Silly old elf!
----
Cash says: 'He's riding Averys dinosaur!...REALLY!'
awesome :)

Elf Mischief Day #1...

Pinot knew that the kids had their first dentist appoint yesterday-----so he decided to help himself to some oral hygiene!
....
..
.

Silly little elf!
Tricks aren't just for kids ;)

Monday, December 10, 2012

Oh little elf!

Today was the kids very first Dentist appointment----ever----
...
They did SO good-I mean, AMAZING!
...
We went to the Cracker Barrel to eat afterwards and they each picked out a sucker----
--that were as big as their faces! My Lord, I laughed so hard.
.
Parenting at its finest ;)

We also got a little something else for the kids.
Meet Pinot.
Santa felt like these two need an extra eye on them through this holiday season.
He's our extra 'insurance' that they behave through all the December chaos.
.
We shall see what sort of shenanigans Pinot decides to get into.
Could be exciting! ;)

Snow Globin' with grandma Judy :)....

So.....I saw this idea of making your own snow globes on Pinterest AND my
dear friend, Annie, blogged recently about doing them with her kiddos...
...
.

Let me tell you they were so fun to make once you get going :)
We had all kinds of fun things to glue in them...
Cash stuck some fancy olive picks in Harleys mouth...
Boys ;)
Grandmas was pretty fancy! She's a crafty gal I tell ya.
Here they are half way done...

Had to stop for a photo op ;)
I love this man.

I only burned my fingers on the hot glue a few hundred times and
webbed them together from the super glue!
...
They were a lot of fun and super easy.
Not bad...
...
...if I do say so myself!

Latest Meyer Shenanigans...

We all got a horrible stomach bug over Thanksgiving...
Aves likes to sport the puke bowl on her head while holding the thermometer like a boss~

While decorating the house Harley and Cash got into the ribbon...
boys will certainly be boys.
Cash asked Harley-er, I mean, Linus, for a hat made out of ribbon...
Do what ya can with what ya got ;)
Avery had never seen Alice In Wonderland~
Here she sporting a head lamp just in case she finds herself
falling down a rabbit hole ;)
Silly kids!
.
They definitely keep me on my toes ;)

pumpkin carving at the Roskelleys ;)...

There was MUCH goofiness going on this pumpkin' carvin' season...
...
:)

The kiddos had a blast carving their pumpkins AND painting them this year.
Harley is a cheese face...What else can I say?
...ok, maybe I am as well ;)
Pumpkin carving is boring..zzzzz...
We watched Labyrinth while carving...
Harley's exercising his chords ;)
ZAAAAHHH Laaaaadies.
My amazing parents.
Jared photo bombing...
Avery love, Love, LOVES Brandon...
...did I mention she LOVES him??
Well, here they are...in all their orange glory :)

Pumpkin carving at Grandma Judys...

So we started out pumpkin carving at grandma Judys with loads and LOADS of sugar....;)
.
Dude's gotta a face EVERYONE loves!
....so does THIS guy ;)
Ok. Avery does as well.
Cash is hilarious. He's still obsessed with Charlie Brown.
He continually calls Harley, Linus. Ha! I wonder how long he'll keep it up...
He's still doing it since October.
It was an awesome time as per usual at grandma Judys!

better late than never...

...
.
Halloween was a blast this year..

Cash was a T-Rex :)
This is pretty much what he did through his entire Halloween Pre~school program. Squat, not sing and stare at everyone like they're dumb.
We were all super ecstatic that grandma Judy came to see the kids before they embarked on their sugar rush :)...Avery went through maybe 7 different ideas of what she wanted to be for Halloween until we came across this gem :0
Unicorns rule.
Here we are....
in all our horror and charm!

Family Night...

.....
.
.

So....
Family Night started out a little something like this...
.
.
This is Avery pretending to be Snoopy while she and Cash were playing before we kicked off family night with a little bit of painting...
.
.

I decided we'd each get a canvas and tape off the shape of a pumpkin and paint them...

It was a BLAST! The kids have been painting a lot of
crafts lately so, I figured this would go along with the trend.

....
The kids loved the activity but...
were confused that we didn't rent a movie and
make a treat for family night.
.
We ate packaged cookie-I know-NOT the same.
Either way we have new
Halloween decor and can chalk it up
to a fun night with the family :)
