Remember the catcopter? Well now someone's gone and pimped that idea by using an ostrich.
The original catcopter.

5.80 Metres Video
This has to rate as one of the best videos I have seen in ages! Completely random and brilliantly animated. It has giraffes in it but thats all I'm saying...

Keng Kye Alive Without Breath Resin Art Series
These works look remarkable like Japanese artist, Riusuke Fukahori (that i posted about as my fave artist of 2012). However the main difference between his and Singapore artist Keng Lye is that Keng has managed to take it to a third level by making some of his resin based paintings 'portrude' from the water.."Lye slowly fills bowls, buckets, and boxes with alternating layers of acrylic paint and resin, creating aquatic animal life that looks so real it could almost pass for a photograph."

Interesting Pet Portraits
"Philadelphia artist Andrew Pinkham creates incredible pet portraits, photos that blur the lines between 19th-century photography, Old Master paintings, and antique postcards."

Wounded Eagle Gets 3D Printed Beak
After being shot in the face by a poacher seven years ago, Beauty the bald eagle lost most of her beak.
Without it, she couldn’t feed herself, and likely would have died in the wild. But now, Beauty’s getting a second chance at survival in the form of a 3D printed beak.

Ephemeral Art by Shok1
Shok-1's description: "A mayfly with wings of delicate smoke dissipating on the wind represents the ephemerality of most street-based art. Mayflies only live for a day or less just as many beautiful works of art are casually destroyed, often by children or the authorities. This work also stands as a tribute to all of the art that was destroyed during preparations for the Olympics. Despite being sanctioned and much loved by the community and fans worldwide, many paintings were eradicated or replaced with corporate advertising."

Incredible Vulture Photograph
The Common Vulture (Gyps fulvus) is found in the Iberian Peninsula, North Africa, the Middle East and South Asia to India. They nest on the cliffs of the mountains, sometimes on trees. The nest is not very elaborate, with construction started a couple of weeks before laying. Some couples prefer to nest alone, sometimes in colonies that may have hundreds. The usual clutch is one egg, there are reports of two eggs. Incubation takes around 55 days and is carried by both parents. The pigeons fly for the first time around 135 days of age.
