Remember the catcopter? Well now someone's gone and pimped that idea by using an ostrich.
The original catcopter.

Granny Painting Restoration Fail
Poor thing.. if this was my nan, I'd feel so so bad for her....
"An 81-year-old who garnered worldwide media attention after she tried – and spectacularly failed – to restore a painting in her local church may face legal charges. (The original is pictured left, the current state it was in 1 month ago and her awful restoration attempt is on the right.)
Cecilia Giménez, the well-intentioned amateur restorer from the Spanish city of Borja, is reportedly in bed after an anxiety attack, with neighbours and relatives suggesting she feels overwhelmed because of the media frenzy over the unintentional damage she caused to the mural."

Iron Sky
What a crazy concept: A movie that has actually managed to be totally funded by the public!! Iron Sky is a dark science fiction comedy that takes place in the year 2018, when the Nazis, who fled the Earth to the dark side of the Moon in 1945, return to claim the Earth. The film is Finnish-German-Australian co-production with a budget of 7.5 million euros.

Color Kid
It seems I totally missed out on this loserhero from DC Comics and I was a pretty big fan of the DC world merchandise & comics. "Color Kid has the ability to change the color of an object at will. The exact limits of this ability are unknown as is the permanency of the effect. He has been shown to switch the colors of the sky and ground, temporarily confusing flying opponents".....

Mac n Cheese Video
Mac 'n' Cheese from Mac 'N' Cheese on Vimeo.
Mac 'n' Cheese is an animated short directed and created by four students at the Utrecht School of Arts in the Netherlands. This roughly two minute animation took about five months to make, and about a bajillion peanut butter sandwiches.Synopsis: When you find yourself running scared and running out of energy, there's only a few options left to outrun your opponent through the southern desert. Stopping at nothing, watch these two guys wear each other out and rip through boundaries hitherto unbroken. Enjoy the ride!

When Taxidermy Goes Horribly Wrong
This one has a great backstory: In 1731, King Frederick I of Sweden received a lion as a gift from the Bejen of Algiers, but after it died, the pelt and bones were presented to a taxidermist who had never seen a lion. This was his best rendition of it....
