Daddy doesn't go to school anymore!

We made it through school! It's been quite the ride and definitely developed us into people I don't think that we would otherwise be. The entire extended weekend as really fabulous. We were able to sit back and enjoy the moment of success. However brief the moment was it was really nice.

Thursday evening we went to the Dean's reception and had a nice dinner with most of his classmates and their spouses (my friends).

Friday night we had an awesome devotional at the stake center with Elder Russell M. Nelson. His words were so encouraging and humanizing of what lies ahead of us.

Saturday morning was hectic but we all got to where we needed to be. My parents, Ryan's parents, and both sets of his grandparents were able to attend. The speaker was really excellent and although a entire ceremony was a tidge on the long side, me and grandpa Brown made it through it!

Ryan receiving his "hood" the MDs received long hoods with a dark green trim to represent medical physicians.

Ryan then received his degree of medicine from the Dean, Dr. Bjorkman

Our family together after the ceremony. Kids weren't allowed to attend... nor would they want to. It was truly a group effort though getting to this point. Each person supporting another in their time of need. And yes this was the best picture we captured... everyones eyes may not be open but it only went down hill from there!

Sunday we had an open house up in Farmington. I think almost everyone who received an invitation came. It was quite overwhelming to receive such an outpouring of love from so many people. We joked that in some ways it was like attending your own funeral. So many people who had touched our lives and help support us throughout many many years.

The next adventure begins now!

Kaylie's Special Day

Kaylie got to do Bippity Boppity Boutique again this trip!
She had a fabulous Fairy godmother.

Her hair and makeup turned out simply magical!

The pretty little Fairy Princess!

Getting her finishing touches!

She chose a Tink skirt with a cute tank that has silver wings on the back.
She and I thought it was a bit more practical with her getting older.

Lydia's Awesome Smile

Lydia's latest camera smile has often included closed eyes....

And pursed lips. She's so silly.

Daddy likes putting hats on the baby of family.

Silly glasses will do though too.

Another silly smile from the Bird.

And another silly hat!

And finally our little bird with her mouse ears inside Minnie Mouse's house.

James' Favorite Ride

James' favorite ride was Thunder Mountain. He got to ride it at least three times!

He went back to back and even got the back seat once too!

Gotta Love It!

Lydia was so happy to finally meet Rapunzel!
She is definitely Lydia's favorite!

Our group shot that mom got to be in too!
Jamesy wanted to meet Flynn so badly but has been quite shy lately.

Lookin' pretty authentic!

The girls were completely enthralled with it all!

Princesses & Fairies

To celebrate Kaylie's Birthday and see the princesses we had lunch at Ariel's Grotto.

Bird liked watching the princesses come in as well as all the food.

After all the excitement was done our little Snow White crashed.

Peter Pan enjoyed the dinner as long as he could keep his distance from the princesses

The Birthday girl was in heaven!

I think Lizzy wasn't quite sure if this was real life.

Lizzy found her twin!

Wendy received a few tips on princess etiquette from Cinderella herself!

Ariel greeted us at the beginning of our lunch... Peter Pan's attitude was fabulous.
Can you see him there in the background blending in with the curtains?

Our little Tink found her twin as well!
