i hope people stop going “autistic people do contribute to society and live normal lives!!!!, not all of us are [essentially calling support needs people useless]”
like, yeah autism is a spectrum but like, there are autistic people who need help with everything and they’re important too.
i hate this notion that other autistic people get offended when they hear ableist rhetoric that’s specifically geared towards autistic people who require caretakers and insert themselves into the convo while throwing super vulnerable autistic folks under the bus.
