Sagarika🌻Swagatika on Instagram: "Dal Palak!!😍  Step by step recipe: ▪️Wash and soak 1/2 cup toor dal, 1/2 cup masoor dal and 1/2 cup moong dal for 30 minutes. ▪️Transfer the soaked dal to a pressure cooker. Add water. Add 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Mix them. ▪️Cook for 2 whistles on a medium flame. Keep aside. ▪️Wash and chop spinach leaves. Keep aside. ▪️Heat oil in a pot. ▪️Add 1 tsp cumin seeds and 4 dried red chillies. Let them sizzle. ▪️Add 1 tbsp chopped garlic and 1 tbsp chopped ginger. It’s a delicious variation of dal which you must try! Super easy to make, very quick and best way to get all the nutrients❤️

Because you’ll end up eating a lot more of it then you would in usual curry form.. so get them protein and do try it out 💪

Ingredients I used: 
- 2 to 3 tbsp oil 
- 3/4 tsp mustard seeds (optional)
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds (optional)
- few curry leaves 
- 6 to 7 large garlic cloves 
- 1 large onion (or 2 small) 
- 1 small tomato 
- 1 cup soaked masoor dal 
- salt
- turmeric 
- red chilli powder 
- garam masala 
- coriander powder 
- coriander leaves 
- Kasuri methi (I didn’t add but mom recommends) 
- hot water as needed
