On the surface, Alex looks like the very epitome of success and suave masculinity. He loves his job as senior associate at the prominent legal firm of Luna, Bankston & Srivastava. He's charismatic, handsome and superbly fit. Though Alex seems to have everything going for him, there are echoes of an old insecurity, the fear that he's either 'too much' or 'not good enough'. The relic of the abandonment issues which he's been resolutely trying to get past.
But his spirits take a beating when he catches his girlfriend practically in flagrante delicto with another man. Though he'd been having reservations about their relationship and the way she'd been taking him for granted, the betrayal still stings.
