Jinx grasped his broad shoulders in her hands. “Listen to me!” She hissed and he swallowed, eyes wide open. She knew she must've looked deranged, her eyes were effortlessly analyzing every inch of his face. Her grip on his shoulder tightened, like holding onto him would ground her spiraling free thoughts. “I need you to pretend you're my boyfriend. Just for tonight,” Somehow, his eyes kept getting wider and wider. His gaze softened to complete disbelief.
“Is this a joke?”

Jinx is being bothered nonstop by a guy during a party. Men don't usually listen to women, but they do listen to men, so Jinx finds herself asking the only other familiar face around a favour. Ekko enters a fake relationship with Jinx to avoid sticky situations. It was supposed to last only one night, but things get out of control and leads up to unexpected real sparks between them.

Feeling Caitlyn's stare, Vi turned to look at her, a sharp, feral smirk spreading across her face. She sauntered over, stepping into Caitlyn’s space with effortless dominance.
“Well, well,” Vi murmured, her voice low. “What’s a pretty thing like you doing in a place like this?”
Caitlyn hummed, stepping closer. “Maybe I’m just looking for trouble.”
Vi’s grin deepened, her eyes gleaming with something dangerous. “I’d say you found it.” She leaned in, voice barely a whisper. “But can you handle it?”
Vi lingered for a beat, her lips curling into a teasing smile before she melted back into the crowd. Caitlyn’s pulse quickened as she watched her go. Well, this is going to be interesting.

Ekko, the Angel of Time and Community has been tasked with one job. Find the Devil’s right hand woman, Jinx, the Demon of Chaos and Destruction, and figure out why angels have been going missing as of late. Sounds simple, right? Wrong. One botched spy mission in Hell later and Ekko is injured and about to be discovered for what he really is.
That’s when he meets her. Her name is Powder, and she introduces herself as a low-level Demon of Vandalism. She offers to help him out, on one condition. She wants a way into Heaven to speak to her sister, the Angel of Creation and Protection.
Secrets begin to unravel as Powder and Ekko start to remember their human lives and Ekko's mission becomes more and more dangerous.

The last thing she expected to see on the other side of the door to her home was Caitlyn fucking Kiramman bent over her pool table.
Gobsmacked, Vi blinked at the scene, taking it in with greedy eyes.
Sculpted, pale legs disappeared underneath a Zaun High cheer skirt that had been rolled shorter (in order to achieve a proper pool stance) to end midway up toned thighs. A curvy backside was on full display, prominent hips swaying slightly while the cheerleader shifted her upper body forward and settled low into her shooting stance. The cropped practice top of the outfit highlighted the lean muscles that ran the length of a perfectly straight spine, encircling shoulder blades that pinched together as her bridge arm extended fully at a ninety degree angle. The pool stick slid back and forth between long, lean fingers placed a few inches behind the cue ball.
Vi swallowed thickly.
Vi is a greaser and leader of her loyal gang, The Slicks. Her sister Jinx and her pals are the Blue Crew. ‘Caitlyn K’ is the new girl in town, prim and proper, and just trying to find where she fits in.

Summary
The Firelights were more than just a gang of rough-and-tumble youths flying down Zaun's alleyways and Piltover's skies. They were an ideal. If any life could endure in the polluted mess that is the undercut, then every life could endure. If anything could grow out of the cracks in the rusted metal and broken concrete, then the rest of them could break through that layer, too.
This was what Ekko lived by. This was what Ekko was willing to die by.
