Yok has always been somewhat jealous of his brother Akk. Ever since they were kids Yok was always in trouble with his parents or his teachers. Yok was always out of the dress code, vandalizing things, and stealing. By the time Yok was 16 he got arrested for vandalism and his parents gave him a choice. He could either change his ways or he would get kicked out. So he left and didn't try to keep in contact with anyone but Akk.
Akk never got into much trouble. He had gotten into some fights but it was never extreme. The day Yok left him Akk promised himself that he would never be like Yok. He swore he'd follow the rules and be the best student. He did his best to ignore Yok's constant calls and texts but when his boyfriend Ayan found out about it everything went to hell.

Sean and Gram agree to do a favor for Yok when he asks them to work as bodyguards for his boyfriend's cousins. They kind of owe him and the job is taking care of two rich, spoiled, brats. Which they've done dozens of times before. How hard can it be?

At a glance, White isn’t the typical punk rock type - she’s all soft pastels and bookish glasses and manicured nails and polite smiles. She looks like she belongs on a tennis court, not a dive bar. And honestly, it took White a while to get used to this kind of music. But hearing her twin sister’s gravelly voice after a decade of silence - growling about rebellion and justice, no less - something clicked into place, and White almost felt whole again.

It’s amazing the number of emotions that cross Black’s face. Shock, then confusion, followed swiftly by horror and embarrassment, and finally anger. Hot, fiery anger that colors her cheeks darker than her blush.
Black wrenches her wrist from Shawna’s grasp. “Get off me, perv!”
Making a good first impression was never one of Shawna's strong suits, especially when meeting Black's sister—and her amazing rack—but they'll figure it out.

Right now, the bigger issue is that he can't become human again, so he's kinda stuck like this. It's not all bad, though. There are good people who give him food and help him get by. One such person is Shorty – a rude, emo looking twink who seems to simultaneously like him and loathe him. It's confusing. And it only gets more confusing when Shorty vanishes for a couple of weeks and comes back... different.

Just as White goes to close his satchel, Sean notices the spine of a book. “‘Dragons’?” he recites, only for White to hastily shut his bag. “Are you also into dragon history?”
White hesitates. “It’s good to research all available avenues in order to have a well-rounded magical education.” He tucks his bag securely against his side. White’s whole stance turns more frigid and stiff, but maybe that’s just how White is. His eyes are guarded, bottomless pits of obsidian, but even in a pitch-black room Sean would search for a light. It makes Sean wonder what lies beneath the façade.
It's funny: Vulnerability is the last thing Sean wants people to see in him, but it is the first thing he looks for in White.
It’s not easy to get into the famous magic school, Kraduk Academy, especially if you’re Sean Bawongittacha. Though as school begins, Sean finds that the mystery of his spark is only the start of uncovering a legacy of lies that haunts the bones of this academy.

Summary
Longtae carries several problems.
On one hand, he is going through a creativity crisis and believes that because of it, he should change his studies and forsake the literature career he once loved. On the other hand, five years ago, his father started to lose himself in his memories, blending reality with the fiction he had created through his books. Nevertheless, the illness hasn't prevented him from still recognizing his son, whom he insists should seek his one thousandth star to have all his problems resolved.
As for Yok... He is living a genuine mental hell, having started to excessively drink and skip his classes, which worries his friends. Wanting to salvage his studies, one of his professors demands that he submit a project, but Yok is blocked from finding the right model since he broke up with Dan.
