As I took in a closer look at his form, I noticed something that I hadn’t seen on him before. A small, circular hole, reaching in and out of his body right through his heart. His sweater and shirt outlined it perfectly. If I looked closely I could make out dried blood soaked into the garments. I sucked in a deep breath. I had done that. That was how he died. I feel the bile start to rise in my throat, but before I could turn around and hurl, curse Suguru spoke again, hand up in a friendly greeting and a light smile on his face:
