Summary
Athena's been hurt, much more thoroughly than she realized was possible. For the first time in her immortal life, she is fighting against her own body and mind, and she doesn't know how to win.
Odysseus is home. After two more weeks on sea, a fight with 108 suitors and reunited with his family, he’s quietly accepted that even a desperate prayer won’t bring his former mentor to come back. Little does he know, for two weeks, it’s all Athena’s been trying to do.
Or, what if after God Games, Athena doesn’t wake up in the infirmary? What if it’s up to a few mortals to take care of the goddess that just collapsed in their palace, looking like she should very much be dead?

Athena played Zeus' game and won. But the king of the Gods doesn't take kindly to losing. While it's true that Goddesses can't die, that doesn't mean they can't suffer. And Zeus has a far more creative punishment in mind than simple lightning bolts.On Ogygia, Odysseus has just been told that he is free to leave. But in this version of the story, Hermes delivers more than a message to the king of Ithaca - he delivers a woman. A mortal woman, bound to Odysseus, forced to join him in his desparate quest to return home.
(Or: after the events of 'God Games', Zeus strips Athena of her immortality, and sticks her with that mortal she's apparently become so attached to.)

JASON HAS A PROBLEM. He doesn’t remember anything before waking up in a bus full of kids on a field trip. Apparently, he has a girlfriend named Piper, and his best friend is a guy named Leo.
Except… that isn’t true. Let's try this again.
REYNA HAS A PROBLEM. She wakes up in a completely unfamiliar place, and the first thing she does is attempt to whip random teenagers into shape; the second thing is suspect that Piper and Leo, the only ones being friendly to her, are secretly her assailants.
Of course, none of that is the problem—these are justified reactions from someone in her situation. Her real issue is that she knows more about Latin than she does about herself. Allegedly, she’d been at the Wilderness School for months, but the only thing she can easily fill out on this worksheet is the part where she has to write her name… and even then, she doesn’t know what her initials are.
She’s Piper’s girlfriend and Leo’s hermana del alma; outside of that? A whole wad of nada. Everyone seems to know her, but when she asks questions, none of their answers make sense. One thing’s for sure: Reyna has a job to do.
She just needs to figure out what the hell it’s supposed to be.
