He was standing with one hand leaning against the cabinet he’d just closed and another on his hip, on ankle crossed over the other. The sly grin on his face confirming that yes, Eddie had just been caught staring.
“Huh?” asked Eddie, deciding to play dumb.

“Not to burst your bubble or anything, Steve,” Eddie starts with a grimace, “But there isn’t exactly a huge line of dudes outside waiting to kiss the freak out here in bumfuck nowhere Indiana.”
“Wait,” Steve says, eyes going comically wide, “Are you saying-“
“Oh for fucks sake,” Eddie says, bringing a hand to run down his face. “No, Steve. I’ve never been kissed either.”
