Summary

Neil is just trying to find a reason to not leave Palmetto after everyone else has moved on. But he never thought he would want to run toward something in favor of running away.
(In a slightly different world, two people find themselves meeting in a softer setting and in just as much need of each other. A story about dealing with pasts, sharing secrets and a cat who is an asshole yet manages to charm everyone around it.)

A two-tone haired boy stumbled backwards, doubled over and clutching his nose in pain. He was wearing fishnets and a tight corset cinching his waist, paired with cargo pants that had so many open zippers they were practically shorts. Fingerless gloves and several red accessories and straps San couldn’t sort out while drunk decorated him.
And red was also dripping down his face from his nose.
“Oh shit,” San said immediately without thinking. He just accidentally whacked the shit out of this guy’s nose because he was wildly flailing his arms around like a drunk idiot.
San frantically thought of something to say to make everything better.
“You’re stunning,” he blurted out.
San meets the most beautiful person he's ever seen... by accidentally almost breaking his nose at a rave.

Being his self-proclaimed soulmate and favourite person in the world isn’t enough, is it? You want all of him to yourself.” Changbin tsks, wagging a finger at him. “Greedy, greedy Hannie.”

And now? Now Eddie's in a seemingly unending coma and Steve is wracked with guilt. So, he pours himself into trying to fix his mistake. He helps Uncle Wayne move into a new house, he spends hours in the hospital reading to Eddie, and he even keeps the Corroded Coffin boys company. He's getting to know Eddie really well while Eddie's out cold.

Summary
It's January 1996 and Steve has recently moved to Pennsylvania for a new job as a children's librarian. Urged to do something with his evenings by Robin, he goes to a bar around the corner from his apartment and sees someone who looks an awful like Eddie Munson playing his guitar. Only no one has seen Eddie in almost ten years.
Eddie Munson, whilst on the brink of death, was not so gently urged into the supernatural department of the United States Federal Witness Protection Program. The time he was in the program, he was stripped of everything he had and thought he knew, and was forced to become someone entirely new. He’s still trying to figure out who that person is. It’s been almost ten years, and in that time the only thing he has learned is that he is okay with being alone. He has to be.
Otherwise known as, a story about finding the people you’ve lost, healing rifts (the personal kind, not the supernatural kind) and maybe for once, finally, falling in love.
