Cole x pixal, just her being amused by her bf silliness, they talk about mission plans at night and Cole likes to (kinda very) messily doodle out their plan while pixal watch him and gives her opinions and suggestions

Not entirely my cup of tea, but they are very cute! The idea here was that Cole had been spending endless hours of every night trying to come up with a flawless plan for a mission the ninja would be doing soon. On the last night that he had to plan, he desperately needed help, so he goes to Pixal, knowing that she'd be awake at this late hour. They spend the next few hours coming up with something, and Pixal helps Cole get through the block that he had gotten himself stuck at at every turn. He's very grateful, of course, and Pixal is not used to physical contact, so she's slightly flustered even by such a small gesture as clasping her hand and being so genuinely thanked, even if his voice is softened by exhaustion and so many hours of discussion.
I know it's not exactly what you had asked for, and I'm sorry for that. I hope you can still enjoy the piece regardless.

Cole totally asks to spar when he wants to rant, and Karloff knows what that means every time. He listens to him and will offer his best advice when he can. There will be long pauses in between sentences and paragraphs, Cole figuring out how he wants to word something. Karloff is a good listener and doesn't interrupt or say much in return until he knows Cole is done talking and looking to him for his input.

Lilly has a backyard garden at the brookstone's household, which she let Cole help take care of the plants and play with him there, when she dies Cole took her place on taking care of them, the plants become his comfort activity when he needed something to do, while Lou would be busy with his performance Cole would take his time in the garden and talks to the plants like lilly did, he felt some sort of connection to them, like they can understand him and listen to him
When he ran away, he felt lost because he was far away from his comfort space, but then he learns about his elemental power and his connection with earth which made him realize, it wasn't just the plants, it was everything, the ground, dirt, rocks, pebbles-, even though it's not the same thing as his mother's garden, he still finds comfort in talking to nature
That is until he learns about Lilly's past and everything clicks again
The other at first thinks he's kinda weird for talking to himself quite often, Cole would rush out of the room or seemingly remembers something and excuses himself out, but then they got used to it, they even ask him about it and Cole explains to them the feeling he felt while doing it
They even treat it like Cole seeing an old friend, after Cole got home from his little walk through the forest or even his quiet moment in their backyard they be asking him normal stuff like, AFFECTIONATELY
"how the talk go, buddy"
"hey, you finish talking with your friends, Cole?"
"oh, home already? Did you tell your friends Anything interesting?"
And so on...

Do you think Cole- when he was a ghost -once comforted himself that if there is no answer or fixing his situation and he did die at that time/moment he could finally see his mother again?
The thought of leaving his dad and his new family is upsetting but the hope of seeing his mother again brings so much comfort to him that he- for once -could accept his upcoming fate

Master wu and sensei yang fight to have cole to be their student
sensei yang have formed a fond connection with the boy which lead to him having a protective and maternity urge for him and sees Cole as his son even if they only interacted for a bit (Cole have that effect on everyone ok) and wu won't let another sensei/master take away his favorite son first(favorite) student away from him
And thus form a rivalry between the two sensei
