Debut album by Iced Earth. While the production is kind a poor and weak, the songs display the high guitar playing technique of Jon Schaffer. Gene Adam's vocal delivery may annoy some of the listeners, but it gives a 'more heavy metal' feeling to the whole result. The songs are pretty catchy and thrashy and the record pretty entertaining.
