This means something with carbs, protein, and color. This will provide you with a meal that keeps you full and will give you long lasting energy but leave you enough time to digest before starting activity.  Some ideas: - Eggs, potatoes with fruit  - Spaghetti, chicken, and broccoli  - Steak, potatoes, and green beans  - Turkey sandwich, pretzels, and apple  - Pbj, yogurt, and berries   I would then suggest some top off fuel of quick digesting carbs about 30min before practice. This will provide you with even more energy to go play hard.
