More than 20,000 children have been killed since the beginning of the war, and 30,000 others have been injured. There is still more under the rubble. Life in Gaza has no meaning.

🚨Urgent and important appeal🚨

‼️‼️The crossing is closed‼️‼️

I’m Wasim from Gaza, as you know the crossings are closed and the situation is very difficult, everything is expensive, we cannot afford any food or gas and we are in the holy month of Ramadan and we fast for 15 hours and we cannot break our fast because of the high cost of food…😭😞

As you can see, we do not have cooking gas because the crossings are closed, and we suffer a lot when cooking…😔😭‼️

image

My mother also needs medicine and vitamins, but she cannot buy them because they are expensive due to the closure of the crossings and the scarcity of the quantity.😭

‼️Help us and donate so that we can break our fast in this blessed month and so that my mother can receive her vitamins…😔🤲🫂‼️

Sometimes, asking for donations on Tumblr feels like shouting into the void, with nothing left but tagging people in the hope that someone will notice. The sense of despair grows with every ignored plea, like drowning while screaming with no one to hear. If you can help, please consider donating—every little bit makes a difference.

How many of you have plans for your future? Do you have a career that you’re working towards, and goals you hope to achieve? Do you have younger members of your family that you hope to see grow up safe? Do you want to start a family of your own?

Even if you’re not sure about your future, the knowledge that you will have one is a privilege many of us take for granted. Amidst a violent occupation, Palestinians have tried to build futures and lives for themselves, and have been very successful. But recently, many people have found it hard to hold onto their dreams as their home is destroyed all around them, and their pleading with the world to help them falls on apathetic ears.

The fundraisers that you see shared on here are these families lifelines, but recently I’ve noticed that people have completely stopped caring about them. This is not normal and it’s not okay!! If you are exhausted, I need you to consider how exhausting it is to live through it! Every fundraiser you see is a real person. These are not just games of getting numbers to go higher. These are people’s hopes of survival, hopes for the future, hopes for their children. The way you react to these campaigns has a real effect on these people, has a real effect on their ability to believe in a better future and hold onto hope.

Your alliance with the Palestinian people has to be material and concrete. My friend Dina has been struggling severely to see a future for her children as her campaign goes ignored and her pleas for help are met with silence. Her children won’t survive on your well wishes, they need actual help. Please don’t stand idly by while this genocide continues. You may have seen the horrific crimes occurring every day in Gaza but you haven’t seen how my friend fears for her and her children’s lives every time a new horror occurs. Only you, through your support and care, can restore her hope for the future.

Please, whoever has mercy on my children, donate to save their lives. Every time they are ignored and neglected, it kills them. I don’t want to lose them. 🙏💔😭

My name is Mohammed Ayyad from Gaza. My wife, children and I were displaced quickly since the first days of the war on Gaza, leaving behind all our wealth and dreams. We are forced to leave our home and live in the south of Gaza, Rafah.

A few days after we left the house and went to the south (Rafah) we announce our tactics to our home with ease our beautiful next and destroyed everything we owned. Everything we had went with the wind, we are now working in hell (the tent) suffering one from collecting wood to cook food which is clearly difficult to produce from the water that was spread and is polluted by the cursed war and our work we lose our source of livelihood.

I became a desperate refugee and dug into a very small tent, without water and food life became horrible and sad with the disappearance of the need to survive. It is a struggle for survival.

Because of the continuous bombing and the difficulty of living with the high expectations our life is security our life is peace, we ask generous people to donate to service our planes. Our lives are threatened at any time, and everyone is exposed and death is not. We have never been safely moved to a place until war, and we have never lost our lives at any moment. Every little contribution counts, and your donation, small and big, makes an impact and helps improve safety and compatibility.

Imagine waking up to the deafening roar of explosions, your tent shaking violently as the earth trembles beneath you. In an instant, everything is chaos—your children scream in terror, clutching onto you as you scramble to escape. The sky is filled with smoke and falling debris, the air thick with dust and panic. There is no time to think, no time to gather what little you have left. You run—barefoot, desperate, carrying your baby in your arms—praying that you will make it out alive.

Images: Hossam sent us images of what his family’s tent looks like today after violent airstrikes in Gaza last night (03/17/2025).

Video: to further prove the validity of Hossam’s story, we have included an Al Jazeera news report that Hossam sent to us, in which he briefly appears (at the 0:48 mark)

Story written by @rumiandroses

For Hossam Al-Qazzaz and his family, this nightmare became reality LAST NIGHT (03/17/2025) when an airstrike obliterated their tenttheir last refuge after losing their home, a casualty of the war in Gaza. With no shelter, no safety, and nowhere left to run, they are once again plunged into unimaginable uncertainty as the ceasefire in Gaza collapses and war reignites around them.

Hossam, a dedicated father of four, has already lost his home, his job, and his peace of mind due to the relentless bombardments in Gaza in the 15 months preceding the now,-collapsed ceasefire. Now, with nothing but debris around them, he, his wife Hanan, and their four children—Bashar (9), Hani (8), Diana (4), and 5-month-old Habiba—are now struggling to survive with no roof over their heads.

The suffering extends beyond Hossam, his wife, and his children. Hossam is also the sole caretaker of his elderly parents, aged 75 and 72, both in fragile health. His father is suffering from severe burns and urgently needs medical care, while his mother battles high blood pressure and requires constant attention. But with no home, no stable source of income, and skyrocketing prices for essentials like rice and cooking gas—driven by the border closures and the ban on goods entering Gaza—Hossam is trapped in an incredibly difficult and stressful situation.

Despite these unbearable challenges, Hossam is not asking for muchonly the money needed to survive, and to be able to evacuate to safety when the border crossing opens again.

“All we want is to live in dignity,” Hossam pleads.

This is where you can make a difference. Every small donation—no matter how modest—can help provide food, clothing, and medical care for Hossam, Hanan, their children, and elderly parents. It can help ensure that Habiba gets the milk and diapers she desperately needs and that his family is not left out in the open with nowhere to turn.

Please, if you can, donate or share Hossam’s story today. Your support can be the difference between survival and despair.

Please consider donating to the Al-Qazzaz family’s original fundraiser to help them buy food and essentials and rebuild their tent:

Our founder, Bethany-Grace ( @rumiandroses ) is also sponsoring a fundraising campaign to help Hossam, Hanan and their entire family evacuate to safety. If everyone donates a little, we might be able to get them to safety the moment the border crossing opens again:

Together, we can ensure that Hossam’s family does not just survive—but begins to rebuild a life of safety, stability, and hope.

Please look at us with compassion and donate to us, we are in a real tragedy

Hello my friend, our tent was bombed, we miraculously escaped death, now we are homeless in the open, without clothes or food, my wife and children are staying with my wife’s father and I am sleeping next to our destroyed tent. The details of the bombing of our house are in the pinned post, and documented with a video clip from Al Jazeera News Channel. Support us in this ordeal and donate to us to build a new tent so that my family and I can be together again, please, this is my greatest ambition now

ART INCENTIVE IF YOU WANT IT!!! Donate to this family if you are able, please help me support them by sharing their campaign if you can’t!

Hello my friend, how are you? I hope you are well. Unfortunately, we are not well. The house next to us was bombed and our tent was completely destroyed. We miraculously survived, but we lost all our belongings. We are now without clothes, food, or any supplies. Please donate to us to buy clothes for my young children, nylon, and wood to rebuild our tent. Our tent was burned with all its contents, and we are in a very difficult situation. Please do not leave us. A small amount will end our suffering. I trust you. Please.

this is sami’s little girl, born in the war, she is 3 months old and is now living under bombardment with her and her family. today, hours ago, they were forcibly displaced from the city of rafah under bombardment and fear, and their tent was burned. most of the martyrs are children and women lying on the streets. sami does not want anything to happen to his children. help by donating so we they travel to a safe country. do not forget them. think about what is happening. they are human beings like you, and they are dying.
