1955 Pinto Bean Cake — Ingredients: 2 x 27 oz (765.4g) cans pinto beans, 1 1/2 cups peanuts, 3/4 cup honey, 5 eggs, 1/2 cup melted butter, 2 tsp baking powder. Method: grind peanuts in food processor, add drained pinto beans & process to combine. Transfer mixture to a large bowl, add honey, eggs, butter, & baking powder. Pour batter into a greased springform pan. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 45 minutes or until done.
