Hello! This is the art blog of deltaorionis. I post my art on my main blog, but I will reblog it here as well so that it’s easier to find.
Art is my hobby. I enjoy drawing fanart of video games, robots, and various sci-fi media. I have some original characters that I draw from time to time as well.
Do not re-post my art anywhere without my permission. Do not use my art as an icon without my permission. If you want to use my art as an icon, please send me a message.
TSAC: I'm rather busy at the moment. Unless you have something to show me, please leave.
TSAC: ...
TSAC: Ah, a pearl. Where did you find this one, I wonder? Hopefully you didn't take it from my Data Archives.
TSAC: ...
TSAC: This one appears to be from my city. You seem to be spending a lot of time in Zenith, considering your last pearl was also from there.
TSAC: Hm... this contains another data buffer from a dying citizen ID drone. I suppose it makes sense that so many drones malfunctioned, considering their owners were no longer around to maintain them.
TSAC: The drone this data is from belonged to an individual named Six Motes, Ten Tranquil Mists. Aside from basic census data, I can't find any more information about them in my archives. They must not have interacted with me or the House of Spheres at any point.
TSAC: There's a section of discernible audio here... I'll repeat it out loud for you.
TSAC: I hesitate to pick just one object of interest… my area of study finds me analyzing the sky as a whole, after all.
However, if I had to choose… one type of object I enjoy observing are supernova remnants. These nebulae are left behind by the collapse of a massive star, and they often exhibit very unique properties. One supernova remnant in the constellation of the Rain Deer is particularly intriguing.

The nebula is very young by astronomical standards- the supernova that created it is thought to have been recorded by astronomers of the early Green Hegemonic dynasty, before the Void Fluid Revolution. It was even bright enough to be seen during the day! This apparent disruption of the Celestial Spheres was considered quite exciting to scholars of the time.
In the present day, the corpse of the massive star that created this supernova remnant can be found in the center of the nebula as a pulsar. This dense, rapidly spinning stellar remnant is a very strong source of radio emissions, as well as x-rays and gamma radiation. This energizes the surrounding gas of the nebula and causes it to glow unusually brightly.
I enjoy listening to pulsars such as this. The tempo of their pulses is extremely stable, which makes any changes in their output very exciting. The pulsar at the center of this nebula occasionally exhibits “glitches” in its otherwise stable period of rotation. The source of this instability is unknown, but might be related to activity below the pulsar’s surface. I believe the exotic matter existing inside of dense stellar remnants such as this may shed some light on the more enigmatic properties of Void Fluid, and the Void Sea by extension. I find this prospect quite exciting!
On a different note, another focus of my research is the discovery of other planetary systems orbiting distant stars. Studying the properties of these planets might help us understand our own planet’s relationship to the Cycle.

In my research I have come across many potential exoplanet candidates, a portion of which are even within their Suns’ habitable zones, where liquid water may exist.
One exoplanet system is of particular interest. Planetary transit analysis of the system’s G-class host star has revealed at least eight planets; four gas giants and four terrestrial planets. Two of the terrestrial planets are potentially within the system’s habitable zone, with spectral analysis showing one in particular has a substantial atmosphere with a considerable amount of water vapor.
Liquid water is considered essential for life, even on other planets. This distant planet could possibly be home to an array of complex alien life forms! If life does exist on this planet, I wonder if its inhabitants are bound to the Cycle as well. One can only speculate!
This is the first time in several years that I've actually drawn enough to have a proper yearly art summary. It turns out that the cure to a several-year-long art block is to become hopelessly obsessed with your own OC. I came up with Three Stars Above Clouds in January 2024 and I have been plagued with visions ever since.
Speaking seriously though, I think TSAC was one of the best things I've done for my mental health in a while. Becoming deeply entrenched in Rain World OC worldbuilding and lore gave my brain a lot to chew on during a year when I really needed something like that. TSAC singlehandedly dragged me out of my severe creative slump.
I started an ask blog for them in May, which has been a lot of fun! I'm extremely grateful for all the people who have been following TSAC's antics thus far. I honestly thought no one would care about my OC, but I've been happily proven wrong.
(The December drawing is something for my ask blog I haven't posted yet, hopefully I will be able to share it soon! Consider this a sneak peek, hehe)
I even learned how to edit Rain World levels so I could put my OC in the game. I've been working on that for the past few weeks... no idea if a full mod will ever see the light of day, but I'm enjoying myself regardless.
It also turns out that when your Blorbo From Your Brain is a giant sentient building, you have to get better at drawing buildings. Here's some comparisons from early in the year to later on:
(January 2024 -> May 2024)
(April 2024 -> November 2024)
There's still lots of room for improvement, yes, but I've improved in my ability to draw buildings and landscapes a lot in the past 12 months.
Did I do nothing but draw my own OC for a whole year? Yes, but I had fun doing it, so that's what matters.
I'm looking forward to continuing to grow creatively even more in 2025!
Here's a doodle to prove I'm still alive. I know updates have been a bit slow, but I am going to try and get back to regularly updating this blog in the new year.
Life has been a bit hectic lately but I'm grateful for your patience and interest in this blog. I have some exciting stuff planned so stay tuned!
I hope everyone is having a stress-free holiday season. See you in 2025!
Original graffiti found within the city of Zenith, located atop the can of iterator Three Stars Above Clouds.
I felt inspired to make some graffiti for TSAC's city. It might not exactly match the style of Rain World's in-game graffiti, but I had fun drawing these anyway.
I think Rain World's graffiti is a very interesting way to highlight what the Ancients valued, as well as what opinions they held.
TSAC is drawn as faceless and puppet-like here because they had very little public contact with Zenith's citizens, so some considered them a faceless enigma, or even a myth.
The second piece of graffiti shows one of Zenith's observatory spires, which were viewed as a symbol of the pursuit of knowledge, but also as a cultural landmark and popular tourist attraction.
I'm helping @saltystingray design an iterator OC. This is Shot in the Dark (he/they). His superstructure doubles as a particle accelerator. He also has a soft spot for Noodleflies.
My Five Pebbles and Looks to the Moon plushies are done!
I made these because a couple of months ago I realized that iterator puppets are made up of very simple shapes that I already knew how to crochet. I didn’t follow a pattern, so these involved a lot of trial and error, but I’m ultimately pretty happy with how they came out. These are the largest amigurumi (crochet plushies) that I’ve made to date.
After finishing them, I also made a matching amigurumi of my OC, Three Stars Above Clouds, for fun.

Pebbles and Moon have wire armatures inside them, but they ended up having too much stuffing in them to be significantly poseable. I sewed Pebbles’ cables together so they were attached to the big umbilical cord, but I left Moon’s disconnected (which also makes her very fun to flop around.)
They aren’t perfect, but I learned a lot and had fun while making them. (I might make Seven Red Suns and No Significant Harassment at some point in the future, but I don’t currently have the right yarn colors for them.)
[ Note: I don’t plan on selling these or making customs- they took a very long time for me to make and I don’t have the time or resources to make more to sell en masse.
I also don’t plan on releasing a pattern, I free-handed these, and didn’t take notes as I made them. However, this amigurumi simple shapes guide was a very valuable resource for me while I worked on them.
I might make smaller versions of these, and I’ll try to take notes while I make those so I can potentially write a pattern. No promises. ]
