Thanks for all of the votes and suggestions yesterday. I have decided this is the way the quilt will be finished. Like I mentioned yesterday I have enough of the gray fabric already cut into strips to make all new alternate blocks so it wasn't a decision of how to fix the blocks that were already sewn. I have only made C and D blocks so far for this second "Fractured" quilt. This gives a different center than with A and B blocks added. l put the 63 blocks up on the design wall and changed a few several times. I think this is the final layout. It will only change if I make a mistake while piecing it. One third of each square ends up in seam allowance on the back, lots and lots of seams............

I started a colorwash with rectangle shapes to talk about on my last live session Thursday. I still need to fill in with squares at tops and bottoms of rows. It rained part of the day yesterday and I ignored the damaged garden and continued playing. By 11 p.m. I had all of the rectangles filled in and now I'll get the squares and fill in.
