El Perú es un país de gran diversidad cultural. Existen diversas festividades en las diferentes comunidades del país. Por
ejemplo, la fiesta de la Candelaria, el Inti Raymi, Carnavales, la fiesta de San Juan, entre otras. Sin embargo, no todos
conocen estas festividades que tenemos en el Perú.
¿Qué festividades de tu comunidad conoces? , ¿podrías describir estas festividades en inglés?

ALBERTO´S PRESENTATION
Good morning everyone, today my presentation is about my favourite festival: The Festival of San Juan.
The Festival of San Juan is a traditional celebration in Pucallpa, Iquitos and other cities in the jungle of
Peru. We celebrate The Festival of San Juan in June, every year. We celebrate San Juan, the saint and
we also celebrate the traditions of the Amazon region of Peru. So, it is a very important celebration for us.
In this festival, there are colourful parades, amazing costumes and music concerts too. It is a fun time for
everyone
In the Festival of San Juan, people participate in many ways. Most people go to see the parades, dances,
and they eat traditional food. Others participate in the parades and wear traditional costumes. The Festival
of San Juan is full of joy and good energy. Come to the jungle of Peru and participate in The Festival of
San Juan. It is a wonderful experience!
