Résumé Un système de soin performant répondant aux enjeux de santé publique tout en
optimisant les dépenses est un enjeu partagé par de nombreux pays. Pour atteindre cet
objectif, une remise à plat des systèmes de santé publique conduit à des changements
techniques, économiques, organisationnels et sanitaires. Cette recherche s’intéresse à
la perception du stress des infirmiers d’un même établissement dans un contexte de

Abstract An efficient care system, answering the stakes of public health while optimizing
expenses, is an issue shared by numerous countries. To address this question, the
flattening of public healthcare systems has led to technical, economic, organizational
and sanitary changes. This article proposes a study on nurses ‘stress perception in the
context of change management. Stress is little studied in Morocco so we have decided
to lead our research in this country.
The literature review, in which several theoretical and explicative models of stress
are presented, shows that change management is a source of stress. We propose a
qualitative and exploratory study on a sample of 25 nurses. The data are computed
through “Alceste” textual data analysis software. Four representative categories
of declarations are giving discussion opportunities. The results show a very strong
link between conciliation of professional and private life and intention to leave. The
professional exhaustion is also translated by tensions and interpersonal conflicts. To
conclude, the universality of stress diseases as well as relevant research paths in the
context of the Moroccan hospital sector are contemplated.
