The front garden is still mostly barren but color is returning.
On this day last year cherry blossoms were blooming in the park.
Vultures dancing
Had a look at the dinosaur* nursery in the trees. They’re still flying in with sticks and building nests. It seemed like there are a lot fewer of them than last year. It may be because last year’s drought dried up a lot of the ponds or maybe they aren’t all there yet. I’ll check back in a few weeks.

A walk along the lake path this morning. Wish you were there.
Lilac buds!
A little after sunrise at the lake this morning. It starts out with tree swallow sounds, then red-winged blackbirds and near the end a song sparrow’s cheerful song. It was a beautiful morning. Saw and heard an osprey a little further along the trail but couldn’t get a picture.
