I know tatarian honeysuckle, Lonicera tatarica, is invasive, but it looked pretty nice right then.

Not my finest imo but after all these years this post from May of 2016 is still my most popular.

More birdsong, some of the best in mid-May. What a wonderful time of year.

Here’s one for people who requested birdsong. It’s from May one or two years ago. The birds are glad to be back in May!

Last call for the peonies. Fewer pots on the steps this year. This is pretty minimal for me and sometimes I regret it but I won’t when I have to water them in the heat of summer.
