Problem

In #2750, we realized there may be confusion between coderv2 and coderOSS. We've had discussions internally where folks have been confused.

Solution

Use coderOSS since this is how we refer to this project in the docs. This way, we stay consistent and eliminate any confusion both internally and externally.

Erm... Coder OSS is a distribution of v2. It's not the same thing as v2. In the not too distant future we'll have a different distribution of Coder v2.

I know but it's confusing to have Coder v1, v2 and Coder OSS. Also people who have never used v1 won't understand why it's called v2. VS Code calls theirs code-oss-dev. I think we should aim for consistency.

What do you mean by this? As in Coder v3?

I spoke to @ketang offline about this. I was operating under different assumptions when I made these comments and opened this issue. We decided we can revisit this discussion later.
