This is an updated version of #1827

Well, I like the idea to move this to a cookbook article in cookbook/routing/. It's big enough, has enough information and it is a great subject for the cookbook.

Yes, after @Tobion suggestion, the information increase, so it's definitely
a good idea to move it to a cookbook article. I'll do it soon.
