Right now, https://typescript-eslint.io/#financial-contributors includes an auto-generated list of top financial sponsors to the project via Open Collective. It's a beautiful list and we're truly thankful to the sponsors. Without funding, this project just wouldn't be able to exist in its current form. 💚

@prisma sent me $500 over GitHub Sponsors intended for typescript-eslint. Which was super lovely of them, but also a little inconvenient1 when it comes to recognizing Prisma on the Financial Contributors section. We'll want to have a way to factor in "out-of-band" donations in the counts for that.

Sibling issue to #7948. That one is for factoring in donations from other aggregator services; this one is for donations that don't come through an aggregator service at all.

  1. I mean this inconvenience in the most bemused way possible. $500 is a lovely donation and we greatly appreciate it. I factored it into our monthly expense/reimbursements as something I received that needs to be distributed. ↩
