Yoga teacher struggling to come up with fresh sequence?
Yoga Teachers as always you are welcome to use my sequence exactly as it or to take pieces of it or to make it completely your own! I started sharing my flows for you to take and use in your class because I remember what it was like teaching 10+ classes a week and I did not have the mental capacity to create fresh flows. I also remember what it was like being a new teacher and not knowing how to sequence. So I would quite literally copy other teachers sequences. No matter where you are on your teaching journey I want you to know, you are welcome to use my flows. My hope is that sharing my flows will help relieve any heaviness or burden you feel around sequencing! It’s that discipline to keep going, to push through when you’d rather skip it, and find strength in just being consistent. This power yoga flow is a little reminder that discipline isn’t about being perfect, but about the practice of getting stronger, both physically and mentally. 💪 You can flow with me on YouTube now—20 minutes of power yoga is up! Laura Louise Yoga | Yoga Teacher & Educator on Instagram: "TRY THIS PLAYFUL FLOW ✨ This weekend’s YouTube flow is all about having fun with movement and building up to a creative sequence, one small step at a time. There’s no rush – just enjoying the freedom to explore, connect, and see where it takes us. Honestly, it reminds me of how life flows too. The best parts don’t come from racing to the finish line; they’re found in the little moments, the steady steps, and the times we stumble and try again. The pauses, the detours – that’s where we get the space to grow. 🌱 On and off the mat, it’s all about learning, discovering, and surprising ourselves with what’s possible. 💫🖤 Would love for you to join me and give it a go! Head over to YouTube and let’s flow together. – @lauralouiseyog
Stephanie Watkins on Instagram: "⭐️ Friday Flow Time! ⭐️ Here’s two segments from my peak sequence for this week. I taught the whole class as a ladder flow that highlighted different poses to transition to from one legged tadasana. For each different segment I either used Airplane, Standing Splits, Eagle, or Standing Figure Four. Where else could you go? Tell me in the comments! #yoga #yogateacher #yogaflow #yogasequence #yogainspiration"
Trisha Meacham on Instagram: "✨Finding the flow on my mat this week. I had an amazing weekend in Virginia Beach, soaking up sunshine and finding inspiration for my upcoming yoga classes. This reel is of a tree pose ladder flow that moves through the warriors. It is a front to back ladder style flow & this was the first sequence in the class. Do you like using tree as a transitional pose into something else? ✨This week, I’ll be teaching the second Yama, Satya, which translates to truthfulness, at Full Circle. Join me as we explore how to apply this principle both on and off our mats. At all other locations, we’ll be diving into Dharana, concentration, where we’ll learn techniques to focus our minds and deepen our practice. I’m also subbing a yoga sculpt class tonight at 5:30 – looking for
Yoga Humans on Instagram: "On Substack today I’m pulling from the archives and revisiting a topic that is top of mind for many yoga teachers these days: Should I repeat my yoga sequences? It must be stated, of course, that many lineages of yoga are set sequences – repeating the sequence is the practice. But, like anything in the yoga world, this topic is nuanced and I don’t believe there’s one set answer. But here are some considerations when thinking about the pros and cons of repeating yoga sequences: Benefits of repeating yoga sequences: * Students have time to learn and understand the movements * Strength will be built in certain areas * Students will know what to expect * Students can track their progress * Teacher has the benefit of less time spent sequencing * Teacher gets to pr
