Perang India—Pakistan 1971 adalah konflik utama antara India dan Pakistan. Perang ini berhubungan dengan Perang Kemerdekaan Bangladesh (kadang-kadang disebut Perang Saudara Pakistan). Terdapat argumen tentang tanggal perang. Namun, serangan dilancarkan antara India dan Pakistan pada sore tanggal 3 Desember 1971. Konflik bersenjata front barat India selama periode 3 Desember 1971 dan 16 Desember 1971 disebut Perang India-Pakistan oleh Bangladesh dan India. Perang ini berakhir dengan kekalahan Pakistan.
