A modified version of the well-known simplex method is used for solving fuzzy linear programming problems. The use of a ranking function together with the Gaussian elimination process helps in solving linear programming problems in a fully uncertain environment. The proposed algorithm is flexible, easy and reasonable.

Initially, fuzzy dynamic linear programming model FDLP is developed. This research revises the established dynamic programming model for solving linear programming problems in a crisp environment. The mentioned approach is upgraded to address the problem in an uncertain environment. Dynamic programming model can either be passing forward or backward. In the proposed approach backward dynamic programming approach is adopted to address the problem. It is then followed by implementing the proposed method on the education system of Pakistan. The education system of Pakistan comprises of the Primary, Middle, Secondary, and Tertiary education stages. The problem is to maximize the efficiency of the education system while achieving the targets with minimum usage of the constrained resources. Likewise the model tries to maximize the enrollment in the Primary, Middle, Secondar...

WHO reports show approximately 113 M confirmed cases of infection and 2.5 M deaths. All nations are affected by this nightmare that continues to spread. Widespread fear of this pandemic arose not only from the speed of its transmission: a rapidly changing "normal life" became a fear for everyone. Studies have mainly focused on the spread of the virus, which showed a relative decrease in high temperature, low humidity, and other environmental conditions. Therefore, this study targets the effect of weather in considering the spread of the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 for some confirmed cases in Iraq. The eigenspace decomposition technique was used to analyze the effect of weather conditions on the spread of the disease. Our theoretical findings showed that the average number of confirmed COVID-19 cases has cyclic trends related to temperature, humidity, wind speed, and pressure. We supposed that the dynamic spread of COVID-19 exists at a temperature of 130 F. The minimum transmission is at 120 F, while steady behavior occurs at 160 F. On the other hand, during the spread of COVID-19, an increase in the rate of infection was seen at 125% humidity, where the minimum spread was achieved at 200%. Furthermore, wind speed showed the most significant effect on the spread of the virus. The spread decreases with a wind speed of 45 KPH, while an increase in the infectious spread appears at 50 KPH.

In this study the insulin-glucose regulatory system was modeled with the help of an inverse feedback fuzzy state space modeling (FFSSM) approach. The feedback insulin regulatory system was presented as a state space model, its input/output parameters fuzzified and the optimized values deffuzzified using the "Optimized Defuzzified Value Theorem". In order to get a more detailed insight of the system, the properties concerning state stability of the model were studied. The model was tested and analyzed for insulin sensitive and insulin resistant subjects. The model was found state stable for an intercellular glucose level above 3.50080 mgdl-1 and 20.0080 mgdl-1 for insulin sensitive and insulin resistive subjects, respectively. At the glucose level lower than this specified level, the insulin-glucose system may stop working and the subject be encountered with some serious fatality. Decreasing the glucose intake below 103.6 and 64.5 mgdl-1 , in case of insulin sensitive and insulin resistant subjects, respectively, may associate unpredictable parameter values to fuzzy parameters depicting low glucose levels.

The revised simplex method is used to maximize the profit generated in 2010 subjected to cost resource constraints. The production of Polyester, Soda Ash, Paints and Chemicals are taken into consideration. The production of the Soda Ash is most productive contributing more to the objective function. In the year 2010, the company was earning R.s 3, 273,756,000 from the production of these products. This amount raises by R.s 189,708, R.s 989,238, R.s 15,594,377 and R.s 45,408,040 by changing production patterns within the first, second, third and fourth digits respectively. The company can earn significant profit by operating on the proposed production forecasts. The top management and decision makers can maximize the profit of the company within the name plate production capacity, setting up the future goals and outlook of the company.

A project manager is always concerned with driving his projects within the time, resource and scope constraints. This study presents a novel selective tool for choosing the activities and the extent to which each activity is executed. We make use of the simplex method to solve (FFLP) problem. A special ranking function used in project environment, is used to rank fuzzy numbers. The constraints that can be used as ...
