The assessment methods are interviews, observation, the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC), and the ADHD rating scale. The intervention given to overcome is behavior play therapy with beat the clock games. The results of the intervention show that inattentive behavior in the form of not being able to focus when doing tasks can be reduced.

One contributor to such distress is uncertainty intolerance, while personal growth initiative is a factor that can reduce it. This study examines Personal Growth Initiative (PGI) in determining the effect of uncertainty intolerance on psychological distress in individuals experiencing a quarter-life crisis. A total of 309 participants were selected through a screening process using the Quarter-life Crisis Questionnaire. The participants completed the Intolerance of Uncertainty Scale, General Health Questionnaire-12, and Personal Growth Initiative Scale. Moderation regression analysis was performed using the Hayes PROCESS Macro. The results indicate that personal growth initiative buffers the effect of uncertainty intolerance on psychological distress in individuals experiencing a quarter-life crisis (B =-0.193, p = .003, R 2 = .117), but with differences shown based on age and gender categories. Based on the findings, it is necessary to build personal growth initiative skills, which will assist individuals in achieving and maximizing their potential and adapting well when faced with conditions of uncertainty.

One of the environmental exposures during adolescence is the use of cigarettes. Not many teenagers are able to cope with environmental influences, thus creating a sense of conformity to smoking. The cause of adolescents not being able to overcome conformity is a lack of self-control when in situations that trigger smoking. The purpose of this study is to reduce smoking behavior in adolescents by increasing self-control when in situations that trigger smoking. Subjects consisted of four teenagers aged 16-18 years old. The assessment method used are interview, observation, Glover-Nilsson Smoking Behavior Questionnaire (GN-SBQ) and self-report. The intervention technique used is group self-control therapy. The results of the intervention showed a gradual decrease in smoking behavior after each group member was able to apply self-control techniques when in situations that trigger smoking. The decrease in smoking behavior can occur because with self-control, each subject in the group can control the sense of conformity that triggers the subject to smoke.

This study was a quantitative-survey study with t-test and correlational analysis involving 116 undergraduate students as the research subjects. The results showed a significant correlation (p <0.05) between interdependent self-construal with social anxiety, independent self-construal with self-efficacy and cognitive reappraisal strategy. Moreover, the result also indicated that college students' social anxiety level was high enough and the self-construal was more developed. The results of this preliminary study are expected to serve as a basis for building social anxiety model based on self-construal and intervention.
