Ngayawung (Ngaiawong) in an extinct language of southern South Australia.
The name is also spelled Ngaiyau, Aiawung, Aiawong, Iawung, Nggauaiyowangko; other names are Birta, Pitta, Pieta, Peeita and Meru.
