Chinese buffet coffee cake recipe

We go to a chinese dinner buffet here a lot, and on the dessert bar is this cake. Huge, cut into squares. The dark layers are a chocolate cake, kind of dry. The lighter is a light, coffee flavored mousse. And the top is the best part... its like a coffee flavored gelatin layer. Can anyone tell me what this may be, and maybe a recipe? I make a lot of chinese dishes, and would absolutely LOVE to make this!!
