MHA Heartache//Slash Bang! Sign-Ups Open Until May 29th!

THE SIGN UPS HAVE BEGUN!!!!

The MHA Heartache//Slash Bang! I'm hosting this year is an event themed around Heartache focusing on writing long, angsty, traumatic stories for slash ships! (m/m f/f nb/nb f/nb m/nb) Each story will receive a full illustration to accompany it!

The Bang! will be running for an entire year (May 30th 2025 - May 30th 2026!!!) with the option of extensions (up to 6 months!) as needed.

Fanartists and Fanfic Authors are both able to join forces and offer their skills! Beta Readers will be there to help as needed and cheer each other on!

All slash ships welcome! Rare pairs encouraged! I'm planning a 100k+ rare pair fic for this event so believe me you will be in good company!

post 431 drunk katsuki accidentally gets a talking parrot as a vet then he starts teaching it izuku's catchphrases and 193828 more corny sentences that real izuku would never say to him (coping mechanism that May go wrong)

katsuki looked so incredibly ethereal when he died. it makes you think… had izuku been there, the vision would have been much worse. it would have been a horror anime for a second. because for izuku, katsuki’s death was exactly that: a nightmare, an anomaly. but we saw katsuki’s death from katsuki’s vision, and katsuki saw it as beautiful sparkles. a sense of calmness overcame him because he believed izuku had everything under control; izuku set him free. for izuku, katsuki’s death was imprisonment—a reminder of his ineptitude and failures as a hero—something he has been struggling with since the kidnapping arc.

i’ve mentioned this before, but izuku ties his success as a saviour to katsuki because, in his eyes, he has protected katsuki all his life, whether that be literally (physically) or cognitively from the background. just look at the river scene. no wonder izuku lost his shit
