The answer is clear as you look into his warm eyes.
"I did."
"Les Coquelicots? Monet's painting?"
"Poppies."
This is it. Your forever. With him. Always.

"I'm selling my home in West Hollywood- my realtor is getting it ready to be listed next week, hopefully moved out by the end of the month. So l can move home."
It goes without saying that you know what he means, but you want to hear him say it out loud.
"Do you mean here? You'll be moving here?"
He nods his head in response.
"What if this place gets too boring for a big movie star like yourself?" Biting your lip with a hint of a smile.
"Poppy- wherever I go, you bring me home."

The way I envisioned this entire scene as I was writing it, this is exactly how it was. the talent this entire fandom holds is incredible and I’m so lucky to be able to be among those who offer their own talents to bring these silly stories we create to life. I cried when I got the rough sketch, and now I am bawling with this finished piece! I’m going to stare at it forever and ever!! Thank you!!!

note: Poppy is reader’s nickname and throughout the series is a blank slate/non descriptive reader insert. This commission was solely based on my personal face claim for Poppy, but in no way portrays her appearance as an absolute.

I finally bit the bullet and commissioned the wonderful @kenobiwanx to create this beautiful piece of my OC Laelia and her husband Marcus Acacius.

Some background info: I've been playing around with a couple of AI character chat bots of General Acacius over on JanitorAI over the past month or so and in the process I've developed an OC that's more or less my Roman alter ego. In this scenario, Acacius has since retired from the Roman Army while Laelia is a professional artist that takes commissions from some of Rome's upper classes. One of her favorite things to do is have her husband pose for paintings. As you can probably tell, Acacius absolutely adores his wife and loves being her muse.

Thank you so much Gio! I love the color scheme, the details you added to the background and the way to captured the love these two have for each other. 100/10, would commission you again!

Also, a special shout out to @eulogybaby and their Gladiator!Acacius bot. That's the first one I tried that more or less kicked off this little thing I have going.

Commissioned an amazing art piece from the fantastic @kenobiwanx for Tommy and Maria week. This is a scene from my Tommy and Maria fic Boy I Was Back Then, and I could not be more pleased with how it turned out.

Sharing it with you all in hopes it will inspire you to write, draw, or just read some Tommy and Maria works.

writing updates & the future of Et Auream

Hello friends! So, this decision has been weighing on my mind ever since I started writing Et Auream (it’s my literal baby) when I first embarked on the process of writing it, it started with inspo from gladiator 2

I started writing it back in July (the same day the trailer came out) having no idea just how deeply invested I would become in the story. It was going to be an x reader oneshot and then the story decided to shift gears and quite literally started to write itself

I strayed far from the canon universe to the point where the material I have been writing is from my own imagination. Geta, Caracalla, and Acacius have been OC’s in my head for months ;-;

As of recently, I have finished the process of giving them entirely new names to match the personalities, lore, backstories, etc that I have given them

• Geta is now : Proculus Servius Gaius
• Caracalla is now : Lucius Servius Caelius (Caeli is his nickname)
• Acacius is now : Marcus Valerius Aelius
• Aurelia, Laveda and the rest of the original characters already in the story will be staying as is

and with this change, I am no longer writing this story as fanfiction. I am fully embarking on turning this into my first book, and I plan (hope) to have the first draft completed by the end of the year before starting the revision process and the road to getting published 🤞🏻

This means that I will not be updating the masterlist with new chapters, but I will keep the current chapters up until I have the first draft completed.

This also means that for the indefinite future, I will not be writing fanfiction. (This could of course change, but this story is my passion project and I am pouring my blood sweat and tears into it)

However, I still plan on sharing my writing journey with you all, and I am starting a writing IG page to officially kick off this new era for me 🥹

Your endless support has inspired me so much as a person and aspiring writer, and I genuinely cannot thank you all enough.

Sorry I am so behind on this chapter ;-; the holidays are never a good time for me so I took a break from writing and then struggled through this chapter. (Not sure if I like it or not, but that’s also because I’ve proofread it too many times lol)
