It would be hard to open a jar, pick up a grocery bag, or put something up on a high shelf without any wrist strength.  It’s also difficult to do certain exercises and activities without wrist strength.  Here are a few wrist strengthening exercises that you can add to your daily routine! If your hands, wrists, and forearms are weak, more stress is placed on those joints, which can cause pain and injury.

These are a few of the wrist strengthening exercises I like to start with. Try doing 2-3 sets of 10 of each of them. Start with a light weight and gradually progress as you get stronger.

Continuing my series of exercises to help your wrist and elbow mobility & strength.

More and more clients that become members of @vigorgroundfitness complain about wrist and elbow issues. Many say it “just is what it is, age, genetic, etc.”

The truth is you can fix most of these nagging issues.

It’s usually a combination of soft tissue work, mobility, and strength training. Every week I’ll share some drills you can add on a daily basis to improve these issues.

With these drill I’m adding one at a time as it’s easier for you to try one exercise, feel better, and then add another one :)
