  The Little Mermaid 2023

  What made this work was that they built depth into the characters and their storyline compared to the original. They added to the Romeo and Juliet type love story and Ariel was moody and iconic. It wasn’t the most memorable film to exist though (proven by the fact that I’ve apparently already watched it…)

  Beautiful cinematography and soft jazz as a guy becomes more and more deranged. Going to a porno on a second date is at the start of that timeline…

  A Quiet Place 2018

  They weren’t joking about the film being quiet. Good for non English speakers because they say about 3 things the whole film.
  Also there were so many loopholes and questions which didn’t get answered.
  I think I was a little distracted watching it though which doesn’t help the whole immersive thing so maybe I’m a bit biased.

  Does show that the candidates should have a background check before. I loved the juicy gossip of the conclave. High school drama has met its competition. 

  (It was pretty obvious who the bishop was gonna be tho cos why else would a random character have so much screen time.)
