The only thing we are equal in is death, yet we try to escape its inevitability and run away from it as much as we can, seeking shelter in a faith that’ll supposedly bring us joy after it comes, if there was no end to it, we’d want it to end and because there is one we don’t want it, there’s no certainty in an afterlife yet we want it nonetheless, even though Death walks beside us every day.
