By the late 60s movies including westerns were starting to be a reflection of what was happening at the time. Vietnam was in full swing but was taboo material for a movie so directors found other ways using other time periods. The Wild Bunch is a definite example of this and became part of what became known as counterculture westerns. The late 60s and on into the 70s also became a more liberal time for films getting rid of the…

What a terd. I love 80s slashers but this was so slow moving. I only really enjoyed about the last 20 min. Few good kills but it was alot of walking around and uninspired dialog. Interesting premise but not executed real well. I love Linda Blair but I felt she was wasted and only really got to shine in the last bit of the film. Big fan of these but I personally couldn't get into it like I wanted.

Viewed Unforgiven again after a few years. It's stilll very good and gets better with age. I love the opening shot when we see the silhouette of the cabin and tree against the orange skyline and we hear the soft chords of the guitar. The script for this was originally called The William Munney Killings which Clint Eastwood wanted to make in the 70s but never did. This came at the right time though in 1992 when the western was…

This movie was soo much fun. Comedian Bert Kreischer plays himself with Mark Hamill as his dad. The chemistry between the two is great as they try to outwit the Russian mob. This movie is loaded with action and great humor with some surprising twists and turns. It does not take itself seriously and the movie is even better for it. Mark Hamil shows off his comedic acting skills and proves he can do more than just Luke Skywalker though i love him in that role. Highly recommend if you want a fun outrageous film!!!!!
