Still can’t decide if I liked it because I felt so sad afterwards. I simply am not in the mood to keep being shown how bad a woman’s lived experience is. I am already experiencing it and I don’t get to look like Barbie while doing it!

The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring 2001
This film is literally just, quite frankly, an excessive amount of various sized white men (most of which look the same leaving me unable to care or tell the difference between most of the characters) on a quest that was so boring I nearly fell asleep 4 times. I haven’t got one redeeming factor for this movie. I just didn’t care at all and I hate the aesthetic / cinematography. I REALLY WANTED TO LIKE IT. I just did not get it.... at all ?????
