Kind of plot I’ve seen a lot before but this was peppered with a lot of cool British 60s culture. Nearly hit the roof when I spotted a cameo from a young Timothy Spall. Not too many films exist about this kind of stuff so it’s an interesting watch. Really liked the ending and the final shot.

Creative and original take on the western. Fassbender and smit-McPhee work well together in an unlikely partnership. Building towards a brutal ending which I wouldn’t quite call a twist but certainly a well placed sucker punch of purposeful anti climax. A perfect final 15 minutes.

Genius in so many ways and for so many reasons.
I don't believe any other film conjures such an earnestly organic yet wholly ethereal magic in its quest to make a case for the concept of a soulmate. Eternal Sunshine is truly unmatched.

Thinking about how the premise of this film couldn't even come close to working in our social media age makes the story even more precious. IDK man its just cooler. Like an unintentional ode to a time long gone.
