  I really enjoy the performances herem Eggers has a knack for getting amazing performances out of actors. This one was definitely more "movie-like" than the other Eggers movies I've seen (The VVitch and The Lighthouse), but it was very enjoyable for me nonetheless.

  I'm going back to the ghetto

  I expected schlock, and to be fair it was better than schlock, but not by much. The underlying religious sentiment and anti-GMO messages were anything but subtle.

  Honestly the best part of this movie is that LL Cool J recited Psalm 23:4 in a movie where Samuel L Jackson was present (a nice slight given SLJ's little-known roll in the movie Pulp Fiction with Ezekiel 25:17 only a few years earlier).

  Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Movie: Mugen Train 2020

  I didn't know a bird could cry

  Despite how significant other anime have been in my life, I have to admit I often expect shonen anime to be "fast-food" media. Demon Slay is simply something else. I will hold off from going on about the show too much and instead focus on the movie.
