  Where do I begin? Adrien Brody delivers a career-defining performance as László Tóth. The rest of the cast, particularly Felicity Jones and Guy Pearce, hold their own as well. The music was beautiful, the cinematography shined and several of the frames have been seared into my mind. The story, it's been a while since I got to enjoy such a gripping storyline. I laughed & cried, was invested, at the edge of my seat, filled with hope, shock and even despair. This is a masterpiece, plain and simple.

  robert pattinson proves yet again that he's a star. his multifaceted portrayal of the main character, from the timid but endearing 17 to the hardened but kind hearted 18 (i'm a sucker for people with a tough exterior hiding a heart of gold) was simply great. loved mickey's relationship with nasha. 
  despite the horrible conditions the characters find themselves in it felt satisfying to see them come together against a corrupt leader, a well needed reminder during times like these…
