What a wonderful film about the human condition and the vulnerability and fragility of humans. Watched this in a beautiful cinema and no one sat in front of me, which added to my personal and emmotional immersion. It was a beautiful film with great visuals and an overarching story about nothing... Despite being a bit confused about the literal narrative structure and somewhat ambigious tory of the film, I deep down understood the emotional message being told to me.

Watched this film again and im analysing the really breaking down the editing of it and holy shit its actually so godamn good. The tempo of the cuts, the carefully and purposefully considered duration of the scenes, the compositions, and all the subtle storytelling being told through the editing and scene composition is so impressive. The montages flow in and out of different montage types, from metric edits, to rhythmic edits, to intellectual and overtonal edits, its such a great film. J.K simmons is also a badass and Miles Teller telling johnny utah to fuck off and turn his pages is great
