  I think the format allows for incredibly great performances, and some really creative location shifts (episodes 2 and 4 especially) but i do think some of the limitations of the single shot approach in how camera framing changed were a bit distracting for me!

  Obviously huge kudos to the camera operators but even bigger shout out to the first AC for pulling focus for a straight hour. Can't imagine what his focus marks looked like.

  Story took a turn I wasn't expecting or maybe felt I needed in the end, but still really interesting look at this. Pretty impressive production all around!

  It's a shame that Netflix has compression artifacts out the wazoo because this is some of the best cinematography I've seen in a while and its really sucked to have trouble with the rich black tones.
