I was presently surprised by how entertaining it was to watch a movie about beauty pageant contestants in a small town. The film is just flat out funny. The funniest part was watching the main character get a win by default at one point because of skipping the seafood at an event. All the contestants simultaneously getting food poisoning was hilarious.

Battleship Potemkin 1925
I did not hate the film, but I did not really enjoy watching it very much. It had some pretty cool imagery, a fitting score, and a few standouts acting performances that made it watchable. The theme is one that is easy to get behind, workers standing up to abusive bosses. However, the film was pretty boring to watch for me. I appreciate it, but it wasn't too exciting.
